A prayer for healing. Pray for God’s healing touch, to heal all that ails, and provide comfort to those who suffer.
Prayer for Healing
Heavenly Father, the Great Healer, I pray today for your healing touch. For you are the One who can forgive my sins and heal my sickness. Wrap me in your loving arms and fill me with your peace which passes all understanding. Wipe away my tears and ease the pain. Comfort me and all those who care about me. For even through the pain and the sickness, though I walk through the valley of despair, I will praise your name. For you are holy and great is your love. You will redeem all of my life – the good and the bad – for your glory. Lord, heal me and make me new. Amen.

Praise the Lord, my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
Praise the Lord, my soul,
and forget not all his benefits—
who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Heavenly Father, giver of life and health: Comfort and relieve your sick servants, and give your power of healing to those who minister to their needs, that those for whom our prayers are offered may be strengthened in their weakness and have confidence in your loving care; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
