Daily Prayer for Wisdom
Father Almighty, teach me your ways, lead me to your wisdom and understanding. Help me to seek wisdom and wise choices in all that I do. Show me the straight paths, so I may ever walk in your way. May I stay firmly rooted in your Word and instruction, taking to heart your commands, and delighting in following your way. For yours is the way of truth and light and goodness. When I seek wisdom and understanding in you and follow your way, I will not stumble and fall. Lord, teach me and lead me closer to you. Amen.
Proverbs 4:11-15 (NLT)
11 I will teach you wisdom’s ways
and lead you in straight paths.
12 When you walk, you won’t be held back;
when you run, you won’t stumble.
13 Take hold of my instructions; don’t let them go.
Guard them, for they are the key to life.
14 Don’t do as the wicked do,
and don’t follow the path of evildoers.
15 Don’t even think about it; don’t go that way.
Turn away and keep moving.
